
Alon Foster was shot and killed by deputies on Sunday in Santa Clarita, and the victim has been identified as Sheila Ashley.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Sunday fatally shot a knife-wielding man who has been named as Alon Foster, a resident of Lancaster, California.
Foster, 44, was shot and killed by deputies on Sunday morning at around 7:40 a.m. after he was suspected of stabbing Sheila Ashley, 49, to death near a Santa Clarita intersection.
Foster was reportedly sighted wandering near the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Spunky Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, where hours before police had been investigating the deadly stabbing of a woman.
Foster eventually lunged at police with a knife in his hand. Foster was shot dead by police after they opened fire.
After receiving treatment for her wounds, Ashley was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Shots fired resulted in Foster’s immediate death.
The probe into Foster’s and Ashley’s relationship was proceeding.
