RHOBH Dorit Kemsleys Husband Makes Desperate Attempt To Keep His Assets From Creditors

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley and her husband PK have been hit with numerous lawsuits in recent years because of alleged unpaid bills, and a new report claims that PK has rushed to court in an attempt to block the couple’s assets from being seized.

According to The Blast, PK filed new court documents begging the judge in his case with creditor Nicos Kirzis to not allow his and Dorit’s bank accounts to be seized as part of their lawsuit. Kirzis claims he loaned PK $1.2 million back in 2011, but never received any loan payments from PK. Kirzis is tired of waiting for his money, and now he is trying to collect.

Kirzis already successfully seized nearly $30K from one of Dorit’s bank accounts earlier this year, even though she claimed the money was solely hers. Now, Kirzis has set his sights on a bank account PK has in the UK, and he is also accusing PK of trying to hide his income by depositing money into Dorit’s other bank accounts that haven’t yet been seized.

Kirzis is asking the judge in their case to order Dorit to turn over the money in her other bank accounts, just like she had to do earlier this year.

This resulted in PK running to court to shut down Kirzis’ attempt at seizing the accounts, and he also argues that Kirzis has no legal claim on his bank account in the UK. PK also says he doesn’t owe Kirzis the $1.2 million because he says the debt was discharged during his UK bankruptcy back in 2011.

If that’s the case, that means that PK took out the loan just a few months before filing bankruptcy. And depending on the case, the court won’t allow you to discharge a debt that you incur right before a bankruptcy filing.

PK also says that Kirzis presented no evidence to prove that he’s been depositing money into Dorit’s bank account, and his wife isn’t liable for the debts he racked up before they married in 2015.

“Here, the Kirzis notes were incurred in 2011, Mr. and Mrs. Kemsley were married in 2015, and Mrs. Kemsley’s earnings have always been kept in a separate account with no commingling with any community property,” read PK’s filing.

In addition to this lawsuit, Dorit and PK have also been hit with two federal tax liens for nearly $1 million in back taxes. The first lien is against both Dorit and PK from 2015, for an unpaid $635K tax bill. The second lien is against PK for 2014 and 2016, when he reportedly failed to pay nearly $300K in taxes.
